I know just the very bare basics of the Paleo diet. Can you tell me a little more as far as meat is concerned with this diet? What types of doet and how often/much is recommended that goes along with this way of life? What’s the benefit?
“The Paleo Diet” is a trademarked program by Loren Cordain that is used for weight loss and attempts to lower exposure to allergens. I don’t think many people around here are very positive about that regimen, or have much interest in promoting it. It’s what I have come to refer to as “grocery store paleo”, which is basically a diet comprised of 100% modern foods with a marketing spin for consumers.
The underlying concept is based on what our hunter-gatherer ancestors adapted to over the Paleolithic era of hominin evolution.
