Need a place to live cheaply and work on rewilding projects over the spring/summer? [Oregon]

I’m looking for experienced rewilding folks to come out and work on stuff together. If you know a bunch of stuff but just need a open, rural, and cheap place to do it, then I might have the place for you. If you’re self-motivated and don’t need direction that really helps too.

The gist: farm near Corvallis, OR. Minimal worktrade for rent (per the owner, who’s not me). Camping out in a grass field, with use of the kitchen and shower in where I’m living (a small apartment). Timeline: now til October (the dry season).

If that interests you at all, let me know some things about yourself, what you’re interested in doing, and some of your experiences living in rural land/doing earth skills. Message me through this board.

Thanks, Dennis

p.s., I can’t take on “interns” or inexperienced folks right now. Sadly I’m too busy for that. I hope to get a core group together to help people in the future, and figure this is a first step towards that.

Hi Dennis. My family and I are looking for a place to land North of where we are at currently in CA. The boys are raised outside. I have 18 years experience with old skills, woods, rewilding, etc. Similiar with Alex(mother). We have goats for packing and two for milk. Six adult goats and four goat kids. And movable fencing to keep them contained if needed. Let me know if any of this is a deal breaker or if you want to know more. Thanks for putting this opportunity out there.

I’m going to end this offer for now. I have some one moving in and want to give him a chance to settle in and decide together if we want more people this summer. I will revisit this hopefully before summer begins. Feel free to message me anyway.

And just FYI, I told Tim that we can’t take more goats. The owner already has six and not enough pasture for more. Sorry!
