Just a heads up for Midwest US folks: The 2015 Midwest Wild Harvest Festival in Prairie du Chien, WI is happening September 11-13. Costs $125. Lots of great instructors including Sam Thayer, author of Forager’s Harvest.
For facebook folks, a lot of the instructors are in the facebook group Midwest Edible Wild Plants (or something like that) and are REALLY helpful even down to having great recipes for black walnuts, acorns, etc.
